My Story

I'm María José Vacas (MJ for friends), a communication consultant and media and press specialist. I've been working as a journalist and communication manager in different companies for more than two decades.

And now, at a mature age, I've decided to give shape to this fascinating project: Maco&Co, a communication and Public Relations agency that puts all its soul into helping companies communicate effectively.

The name comes from Maco, which is what my father called me when he realized that María José was a long name to pronounce for a little girl. He made it easy for me and this is my tribute to him.

Co. because I'm not alone in this. I'm accompanied by my friends, collaborators and my f those who have always trusted me and to whom I have much to thank.

I like close treatment and that's what I establish with my clients from day one. I think that's my great value, since with a one-on-one conversation everything flows…
